As head of your organisation, ensuring traceability of all operations is a more important task that you must do, and that includes being up to date with EASA Regulations and Standards. That is possible with the use of the SICOMO, a web environment solution for legal compliance, audits and nonconformities management of organisations in the aviation sector.
In that sense, this post is going to show how SICOMO solution works with EASA Regulations and Standards.
Regulations are official documents issued by the regulatory authorities and mandatory. Regulations that affect the organisation are included in the Regulations tab on the left side of the screen. In the Regulations tab you can see the regulations arranged in this way:
Regulations that affect the client will be updated depends on your subscription. In this way, the client will receive notifications of the updated regulations by email or internal message. In addition, when there is a modified regulation the word new will appear in the left part of the table on the regulation, for 30 days.
By selecting a regulation from the table, we can display its additional information as shown the following image:
With comply function you can evaluate if your company complies with the regulation or standard selected. Options for this function are Yes, No, Not Assessed and Partially. If you want to get the original document, attached file button allows you to download it in PDF.
Standards that affect the organisation have the same structure as the regulations and you can management them in the Standards tab on the left side of the screen. Here are included internal documents which contain requirements that the company must comply with.
The SICOMO solution, that combines software with related services, allows this kind of automatization, which translates into a decrease of the workload related with the inefficiency of quality and compliance monitoring management, as well as the management of audit plans and its performance, the management of noncompliance, and the report’s generation among others.
